| She had no stump at all |
|
I was walking near a bank, when I saw an attractive young woman coming toward me on crutches. She was wearing a sun dress with bare shoulders and a very short skirt. Of course, I immediately looked down at her legs and was excited to see that the right side of her skirt was empty!
I stopped and let her pass, watching fascinated at how graceful and smooth she was able to walk on crutches. She went to the bank and easily went up the three steps and inside. I waited for a few minutes until she came out and watched her enter a large market. She had a very nice leg and was wearing a sandal on her single foot, but I could not tell if she had a stump where her right leg had been amputated. I walked along behind her for a while and had just about decided she was a hip amputee. As she left the mall, she was briefly silhouetted in the sunlight and her hips were plainly outlined in shadow and I could see she had no stump at all, just the smooth, rounded contours where her entire leg had been amputated.
